WhoWeUse — last updated September 18, 2026

WhoWeUse is a private list of service providers kept by neighbors in Chandler, Arizona. It is a neighborhood project, not a business.

What signing in shares

With Google: your email address, your account ID and your name. Nothing else — no Gmail, Drive, contacts, photos or calendar. Your password is never seen by this app; Google handles sign-in.

With email: the name and email address you type. A one-time sign-in link is emailed to you. There is no password to create or remember.

What is stored

Who can see it

Anything you post is visible to other signed-in neighbors, with your name attached. Your email address is not shown to anyone. Nothing here is public to the open web, sold, shared with advertisers, or used to train AI models.

What is never done with it

Your information is not sold, rented, licensed or shared with anyone outside this list. There are no advertisements, no analytics, no tracking pixels and no third-party scripts of any kind — the app loads nothing from anyone except Google's sign-in service. Nothing here is used to train AI models. This is not a business and there is nothing to monetize.

How long it is kept

What you post stays until you or a neighbor removes it, or until you ask for your account to be deleted. Server request logs are kept about 30 days. Invite links expire after 30 days.

If you are a provider listed here

Listings hold a business name, trade and published business phone number, along with what neighbors wrote about their own experience. You can ask for a correction, add a response, or be removed from the list — see the house rules.

Where it is stored

In Google Cloud Firestore in the United States, in a private project run by a neighbor.

Staying signed in

A sign-in cookie keeps you signed in on this device for up to two weeks at a time, renewed whenever you visit. “Sign out” clears it immediately.
